Lorraine’s numerous credits as a traditional singer, songwriter, teacher and instrumentalist include her groundbreaking Shanachie release with fiddler Gerry Milnes, Hell Up Coal Holler, a Homespun dulcimer instruction series, and two elegant Appalachian dulcimer books with Yellow Moon Press. Lorraine also plays, performs on and teaches five string banjo, mandolin and harp.

Bennett Hammond plays guitar, mostly, picking and singing all kinds of stuff, old and new, in the folk-and-acoustic realm: folk songs, country blues, traditional tunes from here and there. Or he makes it up himself. Since 1986 Bennett has been working and performing, traveling and teaching with his wife and partner Lorraine Lee Hammond.
