Edmund Tijan Dorwana is a renowned Ghanaian musician who specializes in the gyil, a traditional xylophone. He has performed and taught at many universities and concert halls in the United States. The youngest brother of Kakraba Lobi (Sinyiri Tijan), Dorwana has been performing gyil for decades. A member of the Ghana Dance Ensemble at Legon, playing the music of all Ghanaian cultures, he is also a master gyil builder.
